Every Bowser minion in Sparks of Hope

Koopa Troopa
This is simply a listing of every Mario enemy that appears in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and my honest opinion about them being in the game, not being biased to Koopas this time

1. Koopa Troopa
20260605163441-01KTCPWY01ZV2A8RP3ZQV7H282 (1).jpg

Now this can be debated upon whether it's a Koopas Shell or a Koopa in it's shell but it's a Koopa nonetheless. It appears at Peach's Castle, and since Peach's Castle isn't a location you can revisit you can never see this guy again unless you either replay the game or dedicate an entire save file to the Mushroom Kingdom like I did.

2. Goomba
20260605163444-01KTCPXTPZQQN9GNB1QE8W2JXK (1).jpg

The Goomba is the first actual enemy apart of Bowsers army. They appear in every world as well as every DLC. They walk in groups of 3's in an attempt to Triple Dash your heros. They are the weakest enemy in the game having no techniques or weapons as well as being weak to every Super Effect. As much as I wished the Koopa would be here along with the Goomba, I still think the Goomba is a perfect member of Bowsers army to be in this game.

3. Bob-omb
20260605163443-01KTCPXAX6TJSYSJPJ7TN3VFDB (1).jpg

Bob-ombs are first encountered in beacon beach, where one Bob-omb terrorizes Beacon Beach's Village. Besides that Bob-ombs just like Goombas appear in every world and every DLC. It acts like a Goomba (except it doesn't walk in groups of 3) attempting to blow the heros up. Just like the Goomba it's weak to everything but I can also be lifted up and tossed at other enemies to blow them up. Bob-ombs are one of the most important enemies in the game as they are used to break through a lot of obstacles such as Darkmess walls, Darkmess Blobs, Mecha King Bob-ombs shield, and much more.

4. Cheep Cheep
20260605163445-01KTCPYTA2JEWQ5FR4H0E15FP3 (1).jpg

Cheep cheeps only appear in Beacon Beach. When interacting with DJ Cheep-Tuna (A Rabbid with a Cheep Cheep hat) he will play a song which starts a whole scene where many Cheep Cheeps start dancing to the music before 2 Cheep Cheeps give each other a High Five and leave. This is definitely one of the best scenes in the game.

5. Thwomp
20260605163446-01KTCPZ5Z638A7FWTBM8QPRV2A (1).jpg

Thwomp's don't appear as their own enemies, instead being carried on the backs of enemies called Squashers as well as their variants called Squashettes. They allow Squashers to ground pound heros whilst allowing Squashettes to create heavy earthquakes that blow heros away. Since they are carried by Rabbids, they are one of the only Mario enemies to appear during the fight with Cursa as well as other fights Mario Enemies don't appear in, guess Thwomp got himself a VIP pass

6. Pokey
20260605163447-01KTCPZJDYJ2CMXF9YAFS1BSJB (1).jpg

Pokey appears in the background of Pristine Peaks (I know, Desert Pokeys appearing in a snow world without Snow Pokeys, don't question it). A single Pokey can be seen chilling with a Rabbid inside a Snow globe, which is a weird sight to see.

7. Skate Goomba
20260605163448-01KTCPZY7DG791HPCQ9743DJ7C (1).jpg

While the Goomba itself doesn't appear, the shoe does. It also appears in Pristine Peaks where it seemed to have been stopped after some Rabbids were riding in it.

8. Dragoneel
20260605163449-01KTCQ0F0FXM1ZG5VBQF187K70 (1).jpg

A single Dragoneel appears in Pallette Prime. It was knocked out by a giant dumbbell that fell from the sky, though a Rabbid on its nose is acting as if it knocked out the Dragoneel. I don't know how the people of this town lived here normally not caring what was beneath them

9. Conkdor
20260605163451-01KTCQ0RZ24B382CG0731GTXGJ (1).jpg

3 Conkdors appear in Pallette prime performing the same face slamming move they did in Super Mario 3D World. These Conkdors though seem to be friendly and used for Farming purposes.

10. Chain Chomp
20260605163452-01KTCQ17BV0TPTG7VR6GRQQQQ6 (1).jpg

A Chain Chomp appears in Pallette Prime sleeping on a small floating platform. It appears to have eaten half of a Moon that has fallen from the sky before falling asleep. It also appears as part of a statue during the Darkmess Edge fight. This chain chomp is one of the only Mario enemies to appear in promotional art for the game despite not doing much story wise.

11. Crowber
20260605163453-01KTCQ1QSYGCEX1M127Q9FW2FV (1).jpg

A single Crowber appears in Pallette Prime circling a Scarecrow. That's it. Unless you want to count the black birds with a similar color this is the only one. Reminder we lost other cooler Mario enemies to a bird with only 4 Game Appearances (Sorry to the single Crowber fan out there)

12. Vine/Piranha Plant
20260605163454-01KTCQ26WH043VGNJQXVC89AFH (1).jpg

A vine (Which is technically a Piranha Plant variant) appears in the same world being used by some Rabbids to regain access to their TV. There's also a Piranha Plant statue that appears in the WM ARC though it's pretty hard to see. Daphne's Hoodie also resembles the mouth of a Piranha Plant.

13. Armored Goomba
20260605163456-01KTCQ2R163H0X5BK0VZTBFWR1 (1).jpg

Armored Goombas are a variant of Goomba that wear Pots on their head. This pot makes them immune to every type of attack. The only way they can be defeated is by physically knocking them off the Battlefield similar to how you defeat a Goomba. Something about this guy screams "He is a Koopa Replacement".

14. Blooper
20260605163457-01KTCQ32NBYM8NSN95FNQ94VTV (1).jpg

2 Bloopers appear in Terra Flora inside a divers suit. Just like the Conkdor, they are moving similar to how they do in Super Mario 3D World.

15. Magikoopa
20260605163458-01KTCQ48ASY1RZM11T4RSAFKJP (1).jpg

Magikoopas (Alongside Darkmess MechaKoopas) are the only Koopa enemies in the game. They are one of the strongest enemies in the game, being immune to every Super Effect and unable to be launched off the ground by Rabbid Kong. They have a technique that allows them to Increase ally attacks as well as their own, which is bad since their own attacks are already pretty powerful, ignoring Cover. Magikoopas are Rare with them only appearing in Barrandale Mesa, Cursas Stronghold, and 2 DLC's.

16. Coin Coffer
20260605163500-01KTCQ4T79FHYG179M6A8DK93W (1).jpg

A single Coin Coffer appears in Barrandale Mesa sleeping inside a Piggy Bank. It appears to have broken in and ate all the coins, fatty.

17. Rabbid Mechakoopa
20260605163501-01KTCQ55BP1EQ33TEPNTYKR7YR (1).jpg

Rabbid Mechakoopas are the most constantly appearing Koopa on the entire game, this is because they are actually Allies. You first unlock them when you get Bowser at Pallette Prime. Bowser can summon up to 3-5 Koopas all at once. Once summoned they start walking towards the nearest enemy in an attempt to blow them up. They can also be lifted up and carried around to either place them in certain spots or to throw them straight at enemies. They basically like Bob-Ombs except whenever an enemy walks within its radius it will blow them up.

18. Fire Rabbid Mechakoopa
20260605163506-01KTCQ7C71YXXHWDG5AP41BPM8 (1).jpg

Fire Rabbid Mechakoopas are variants of the Former but with the Attack/Resistance to fire. Instead of a White face and shell, they garnish a Red face and shell. When they blow up they cause the Fire Super Effect

19. Darkmess Rabbid Mechakoopa
20260605163505-01KTCQ66Z6PC6WXTQ532BK5BZT (1).jpg

Darkmess Rabbid Mechakoopas are enemy versions of the the previous Rabbid Mechakoopa summoned by Darkmess Bowser. 3 can be summoned and act like how a Rabbid Mechakoopa would act but towards the heros instead. If a hero uses Ethering to go invisible, they can knock over a Mechakoopa to lift it up. Once knocked they will start detonating like a Bob-omb except they don't explode upon contact with the ground and won't explode upon contact with an enemy until it's time goes off. They can also be stomped on to blow up faster. Since these guys are made of Darkmess, does that mean they aren't Mechs? So would that just make them Darkmess Rabbid Koopas?

20. Giant Goomba
500px-M+RSOH_Giant_Goomba.png

The Giant Goomba is a Goomba turned big by Cursa. It walks like a regular Goomba but due to its size it destroys cover upon contact and knocks over anything in its way. Because of this it is unable to dash. They alongside every giant enemy are immune to Super Effects. It can be found in Beacon Beach and the Tower of Dooooom

21. Giant Thwomp
500px-Giant_Squashette.png

Giant Thwomp appears on the back of Giant Squashette with darkmess on top of its head.

22. Giant Magikoopa
500px-M+RSOH_Giant_Magikoopa.png

Just like the Goomba and Thwomp, Giant Magikoopa is a Magikoopa grown big. Unlike it's giant peers, the Magikoopa uses a different way of attacking: Summoning 6 Goombas and using its Power Technique to power them up as well as other enemies near it. It's the only Giant enemy with a new and original voice. It's also the only giant to have some kind of name "Magikoopa the Magnificent"
