Don't wanna see no dark gray clouds in the sky...

Lifting my spirit, it's taking me high...

OOooooh yeahhh.....magical rainbow!!!

SNES
At the time, it's a tough track but today? Very meh. I do like Mario Kart 8's spin on it, but today, it's just very average. However, there's a reason this track is in Map Hell in SRB2 Kart, this track really sucks to play on there because of its 16 racers and very narrow roads with no walls to speak of. D

This track just sucks, both in the original version and the 8 version. It's too long and boring in the original save for random Chain Chomps and it's too short in 8, especially in 200cc. I didn't play the F Zero version though. At least the music is good. F

GBA
This track is a very fun and underrated track. It has a deceptively simple design, but its amount of jumps make taking shortcuts with mushrooms and other types of boosts very fun. People should try to play this in SRB2 Kart, it's a blast. B

I never liked racing in this one because of its extremely janky physics. Red Shells do not track your vehicle properly thanks to the topology and Chain Chomps are barely effective here, the long jumps and ramps make it very susceptible to breaking off and causing you to fall to your doom a lot. It can be fun and challenging, but it's also a pain to race on. C

DS
I've enjoyed this one. It's very fun and I love the loops on this course. It's not the most difficult Rainbow Road by a long shot but I always liked playing on this. A

Wii
Always found this track meh. At the time, I did like the track because it was one of the few Galaxy references at the time but otherwise, I didn't really like this one too much. C

3DS
Probably the best one in the series, I love the huge variety it has, taking full advantage of the single lap, 3 section structure, and it's an amazing finale to Special Cup. A

Wii U
I quite like this one as it sets itself apart from the other Rainbow Roads by its artificial look. The first turns are very difficult to take in 200cc and it's very demanding but also satisfying to race in it in that speed setting. It's not the best nor most dazzling Rainbow Road, but it's quite satisfying to play in. B

Switch 2
Very lackluster track that substitutes spectacle over gameplay. The roads are far too freaking wide and it's extremely brainless to drive on it. What a fitting finale to an otherwise underwhelming game. D
