OK, now that this is over (for real), I'm going to give my thoughts on it.

The idea is brilliant! This is kind of like 'Shroom Quiz but with awards stuff, so not only are we playing a game but we're also learning past awards stuff, allowing for previous awards contributors to feel happy that their works are referenced. It also gives them recognition too.

Unfortunately, the format of this game was the biggest problem. This heavily relied on real-time responses, which probably wasn't an issue for people on the west coast of the United States, but for folks on the East Cost (like me) the games started at around 10:30 -11:00 PM, so I'm trying my hardest to stay up and not fall asleep during the game. I can't even imagine the conditions for folks outside of the U.S. because it's early morning hours for them and they're probably fast asleep. I can see the far east of the world (like Australia) playing in perfect conditions because it's like late morning/early afternoon.

But I do understand; no matter what time you start the game, there's always going to be time zone issues. That's why I suggest the idea of having rounds last at least a day with all questions posted at once. That way, the players don't have to stress about making time to play this game - they can freely answer the questions whenever they want in a time that works for them. Additionally, I recommend the thought of players sending in their answers via forum PM. This is to prevent cheating (copying down someone's answer because they answered quickly) and to not clog up the thread with answers in between the questions. I saw that all questions should be posted at once so you can ease the workload on yourself, Boo. I can tell you were making Tenna posts during the action and I hope you're not exhausted after all that effort. Make your questions ahead of time and things will be easier for you.

This kinda ties in to my previous point, but because of the real-time participation getting everyone available to play the rounds was tiresome, resulting in delays (the fourth round was played for one question before being delayed for about 2 weeks, but I'll get to that in my next paragraph). This is why I suggest the PM format with all the questions posted, that way you don't have to wait for anyone.

Waluigi Time brought up the fourth round in a previous post, and I agree with his sentiment. The game only said that there would be three rounds so adding in a surprise mandatory fourth round probably wasn't the best idea. WT also mentioned players losing points in the fourth round if they answer incorrectly, and I saw this as punishing because losing points from a round we didn't expect was too much. The category itself was also pretty vague, and although we have Ramb the hint guy, we only get one hint each it didn't really feel helpful.

I sound like I hated this game but I don't. This was the first time you hosted a game like this, and despite the issues, playing the game itself pretty fun! Take this as a learning experience so you can improve the format for future games. It was a solid first effort! Thank you for hosting!
