what's console you Plan on Getting

my list of consoles I want to get: Master system, Mega drive, and Game gear

I have the GameCube, DS Lite, Xbox 360, Wii, 3DS XL, Wii U, and Switch (original), as well as a good gaming PC so I'm very content with what I have and have no plans to get any others - so far the Switch 2 has not shown any new features or games that have convinced me to buy it, although this may change as further games are announced.

Aka Do I choose the path of playing with online randos or the path of local couch gaming

No consoles, I'm content with the ones I have. I'd consider a Famicom / Super Famicom to play NTSC games but it's not a priority.

Some PC purchases I'm keen on are:

NAS
- I currently have a NAS with 8TB usable and one drive for RAID
- It's running out of storage, so I'd like to increase it to 16TB+ usable with two drives for RAID
- I have a spare, low spec PC that I plan to convert into an off-site NAS
- That will mirror what I have on the home one, I just need some drives for it.

VR
- I got a Valve Index years ago but have only used it once or twice
- I'd like a dedicated PC for it, by either upgrading my current computer and repurposing the parts, or buying a second-hand gaming PC
