"Gun" does not mean "thing that fires bullet". Regardless, I wasn't the one who named them, I wouldn't know.

Nintendo (and especially the ones who made that game), you had ample opportunities.

I deeply appreciate the efforts @Power Flotzo and others have made to contribute to this project I drafted about a year ago. Research and writing, regardless of the topic, is time-consuming and requires effort that not everyone is willing to do. I envisioned it being a collaborative project across the userbase that I would help foster, but other things in my life and my investment in other projects made me neglect it, and I apologize for that. These efforts have strengthened our coverage, and made Super Mario Wiki a stronger, more encompassing source of information.
