I liked and cared about Ema so much by the end of Phoenix Wright 1 but Discord is so much fun, I'm still extremely happy with him winning even though Absol got knocked out

looking at some stats here, Discord is the third character from an animated series to win, following Rarity and Dipper Pines. he also joins Rarity as our second MLP winner! lastly, this was not his first attempt here - he previously appeared in volume 9, coincidentally the volume Rarity won. also, that volume was 10 years ago. god.
