I didn't know where to put this, but Blitz put their wash iceberg thing here, so I guess I'll put my stuff here too.

I was wondering about time in the Car Wash.
How does it pass? In line with real time? Is it fluid?
Does it take place in the current year, or an older date?

I'm especially curious about the last question.

The Car Wash has a "floating timeline", where the current events take place in the current time, but it doesn't have any effect on the plot.

My interpretation of the passage of time in the wash is fluid, and it depends on how much the writer wants to move the plot or how much time they want pass. There isn't one set time to be held, and that's fine: we all have busy lives and we can't attend 24/7, so making time flexible helps address that.
