All of the fighters stood up in the cliff, staring right at the impending enemy. It was an angel-like being surrounded by Master Hands, so the fighters were ready for battle.

The army of Master Hands started vanishing and light surrounded Galeem. The fighters and their countless stories...

Huh... Run, everyone!
...came to an end as light consumed them.
Everything was consumed by light... Everything? No! A single Warp Star flew away with Kirby on it, escaping from Galeem to the last remaining world.

A twinkle of light to save everyone... Can Kirby do it?

The Puppet Fighters and the Spirits
Galeem controlled the strings of the fallen fighters, while the spirits were forced by Galeem to use their powers to defeat the remaining Kirby.

There are four types of moves: Attacks, which divide into Ground, Air, and Smash attacks, Specials, divided into Neutral, Side, Up and Down special, Shield, protecting you from one attack in the next turn, and Skill, using currently selected Spirits' special skills.

Each special attack have a 2-turn cooldown. Some special moves give status effects—like Burn, Sleep, etc. Shield has a 1-turn cooldown. Final Smashes can be used every 5 turns.

When you get knockback, don't give up! Use special abilities to recover. 5 knockback will KO you.

List of status effects
Self
Metal, Stone - Nullifies all knockback.
Focus - Multiplies knockback by x1.5.
Gold - Multiplies knockback by 1.75. Can't be stacked with other status effects.
Jump+ - 1 jump will cover 2 knockback.
Speed+ - Increases chances of missing by x1.5.
Smash+ - Multiplies damage by x1.5.
Shield+ - Shield can protect from 2 attacks instead of 1.
Counter - Counter the next attack.

Enemy
Burn - Will add 13 damage to any attack.
Sleep - Misses next turn.
Frozen - Can't use Skill next turn.
Zapped - Knockback multiplied by x2.0. Can't be stacked.
Buried - Can't attack or use specials next turn.
Poison - Take 7 damage each turn for 2 turns.
