Fawful in Bowser's Minions

In the last few cutscenes in Bowser's Minions, it looks like Fawful is collaborating with Bowletta just as Mario and Luigi are traveling within the torch-lit hallway that leads to Bowletta's chamber (which comes after their final battle with Fawful, which resulted in him being tossed out of the air-borne castle). Succeeding that cutscene, we see Fawful drop the minions into the Mechawful factory, where the final minions battle occurs against Fawful. By the time the battle is over, Bowletta has already been defeated by M&L.

Unless I'm missing something crucial, these panning out of events seems rather jumbled and inconsistent. If Fawful was with Bowletta right before the bros made their way into the chamber, then that would mean that Fawful made his way back into the castle after his defeat by the bros, right? And if he was battling the minions simultaneously with Bowletta vs. M&L, that also would indicate that he returned to the castle after he was chucked out. But according to the wiki, Fawful's battle against M&L happened after his battle with the minions. And tbh, the latter explanation makes slightly more sense than the former, since the result of his defeat by the minions is him lying unconscious, while his defeat by the Mario bros ended in him being tossed out of the castle.

There's a lot of inconsistencies in the extra modes in the remakes that I'm sure must have been oversights. There's also confusion in the BIS remake, where we first see a cutscene of Bowser Jr. being affected by Bowser's inhaling nearby, but a later scene depicts Fawful, Dieter and Midbus plotting to sell Bowser the "Lucky Shroom". Which is what caused his inhaling in the first place.

Also, Fawful has completely normal dialogue for some of his Minion Quest battle cries in the final battle, while Midbus talks completely normal in Bowser Jr.'s Journey. It's like they forgot who they were writing lines for in those instances.

It's also possible the translators were given the lines out of context. According to Tomato here, it's not uncommon for translators to not get the script for what they're translating.
