I prefer Toon Link over Link because he's faster.

I prefer Link over Toon Link as his attacks hit harder, though I prefer Roy over Marth because fire.

Honestly, I've always picked Toon Link over standard Link just because I like Wind Waker. With Roy, does the fire actually make much of a difference? I know his attacks hit harder, but I thought the rest of his movement didn't make up for it.

Toon Link definitely has speed over Link, as well as his multihitting spin attack, but the bulk of his attacks aren't as strong. Nostalgia-wise, I like Toon Link over standard Link, as WW was the first Zelda game I played, but in a fight, I'm just better with Link.

For Roy, I'm also more of an up-close fighter, which makes his sweetspot a great choice for me. The fire just adds more damage output. Out of the FE characters, though, I prefer Ike.
