The Mario & Luigi thread.

How so?

Thats because she's the voice of the party.

Yes it does, much to my annoyance.

I love DT but in terms of flow Superstar saga was much faster.

Another issue I have with DT is that there is way too many pointless characters that talk to much.

One of the worst examples is during the ultibed hunt or when you gotta get the dream eggs. Just shut up and give me the damn egg.

That's an "all star" game in name only.

When I see a true Mario all star game (including more than just platformers) then we will talk.

I know you were joking.
Maybe a Mario fan-service game would suffice. Except Mario Kart isn't all about fanservice, it's about familiar Mario characters from the mainstream platformers and the occasional ripoff that supplements the roster. That's how I see it. No Mario & Luigi because I just said, niches games have a tenacious hold on their original characters.

I'm generally not crazy about fanservice games. There are exceptions like hyrule warriors but even that only covered primarily the 3D Zeldas.

The rpgs aren't all stars
It's a matter of opinion.

I say for every Mario game that has a story that heavily involves original characters, at least one or two of those characters deserve to be recognized in the Mario allstar cast.

No it really isn't. The Mario ''all stars'' are the characters that are the most prevalent across the franchise. Being important for one or two games means nothing.
