Who are your favorite directors?

Nabber

Artisanal Cheese Taster
My current favorite directors are Edgar Wright, Hayao Miyazaki, Christopher Nolan, David Fincher, Brad Bird, and Quentin Tarantino (I don't adore all of his films, but I love his style.)

Edgar Wright, Quentin Tarantino, JJ Abrams

i don't really tend to pay too much attention to who's directing, how they're directing, etc, though, so this isn't based off too much except 'i like their movies'.

Maybe because I still have hopes for him, those movies are terrible but not enough for me to lose hope

That movie wasn't enough for me to abandon all hope, I agree it's terrible but it's based on a tv show I don't care about so...yeah

signs came out 13 years ago and almost no one likes any movies he's made since

maybe if what he's made so far was incredibly talented, i could understand a bit, but was the sixth sense really that impressive?

It's a chilling film

The Sixth Sense: good
Unbreakable: good
Signs: meh
The Village: bad
Lady in the Water: bad
The Happening: bad
The Last Airbender: bad
After Earth: bad

I think the biggest twist is that he's still making movies.

This year could be his comeback because he's doing a movie where Bruce Willis travels a thousand miles on foot to prove his love for his dead wife, and that does sound interesting

maybe he's only making all these bad movies
so he can make an amazing movie in a few years and have the largest plot twist of all

Peter Jackson, Wes Anderson, Stephen Spielberg, Pete Docter, Christopher Nolan, Sam Mendes, Alfonso Cuaron, Edgar Wright

those are the ones I can come up with off the top of my head

Steven Speilberg (Is that how you spell it?)
i think the e and the i go the other way around, but that's ok

his movies are awesome. though it's not critically one of his best, i really liked the terminal.
