For the 3DS, you have some classic games like some of the Super Mario Bros.

i have an affinity for 2d platformers, puzzle games and driving games, but basically anything not rated "m" will do.

If you like fun, you should absolutely get Shovel Knight.

I've heard good things about Gunman Clive, plus it's a platformer. I also recommend Pullblox and/or Fallblox as they're both good puzzle games.
