There should be Super Mario Galaxy Movie by Ridley Scott

SMG1 is kinda scary. Why do I say this?

When I first saw it on the wiki, I was like "Why did I have to get the first one?" Im over it now.

I mean SMG1 is so unsettling for a Mario game in that it's so shocking for a Mario game. I mean this the other time something this scary happens on a Nintendo console happens. I mean come one first we had Sweet Home for the NES/Famicom. Sure it isn't Sci-Fi but it was scary as hell.

Just because he's done sci-fi movies doesn't mean he's a good fit for a Super Mario Galaxy film.

mario tends to be a very light and kid-friendly series. scott's work strays more horror/thriller in tone.

mixing the two styles would be a disaster waiting to happen.

I think he can tone it down a bit so that fits the Mario series a bit. Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 are part of the Sci-Fi genre so it would work out. It's outer space for crying out loud.

boiling down an entire genre to "MOVIES IN SPAAACE" is insulting to the thousands upon thousands of writers who created, developed, experimented with, and mastered science fiction and made it the genre we all know and love. including your poster boy ridley scott.

there's more to science fiction to just "SPAAACE". and if you really gave a damn AT ALL about movies, video games, literature, or any other media that sci-fi has shaped, you wouldn't have even thought about typing such an asinine comment.

They are a load of ass that even the AVGN says they suck.
