I never explicitly said fire powers, I just said FE had qualities which could be associated with fire Pokemon, such as color.

Y'see? Could. As in, it is possible for FE's color to be associated with Fire Pokemon. I never once said all red Pokemon are Fire types.

So, in short, Morty randomly attacked a perfectly innocent Victreebel with a motive that made absolutely no sense.
