The original Mario Party was extremely terrible. All the painful control stick spinning, the end of board cut scenes being creepy, and rigged 1VS3/1 Player minigames, and the lack of an item system are all flaws that make this game terrible, all of which were fixed in Mario Party 2, though Chance time was there.
