Germany didn't bomb us.
 
Neither did Japan, really. At least not "us" as in "civilians".

They mostly stuck to bombing military bases, shipyards, and hospitals.
 
"They went to war with us once" is a *bleep*y excuse not to buy something that came from another country in general, it applies to almost everyone.

These kinds of feelings linger, though.

My dad, for instance, is part of the many Chinese families that fled to Taiwan, and he is only 50% or more joking when he says that Japanese people are the "scum of the Earth".

I don't think there were any reported attacks on Japanese bombing hospitals in Pearl Harbor
