This would be pretty sweet, but alas, it's way too unlikely.

Didn't they say every art style would share the same physics? I wonder how the Super Mario World goal seen in that video will act exactly like a flagpole.

True, didn't think of that. SMB3 had Star Blocks IIRC. Wonder what those would look like in NSMBU style.
