Kirby and Yoshi could be pokemon. I mean, Kirby can't say MUCH more than his own name. And that wasn't a problem in that dumb anime.
 
Sing:

Talk:

"Yoshi! Yash! Hup! Gong!"
 
Ok, they can WRITE. not TALK.
 
Technically, it was captions in Super Mario ROG: Legend of the Seven Stars. I think its speech bubbles or little noises everywhere else, unless you count manuals, cartoons, etc. He talked pretty fluently there.

Kirby can talk, but 4Krap screwed it up in teh dub. Anyways, Ludicolo is pretty FTW.
