Updated the post a bit.

Not to be a bother, but usually when there are more than 1 player tied for 1st, the next lowest wouldn't be 2nd. That means that if three people were tied for first, then the rest would be tied for 4th.

Allrighty then, just fixed that mini error.

This reminds me of that haunted board from Mario Party 8. From what I can tell, we only get to see the parts of the map we've passed or landed on.

The closest thing to pun in that is the use of the word turn since this is based off Mario Party, although that really isn't much of one even then.

Oh. So that pun that sadly wasn't intended was overlapped by a common pun and thus would make people think the pun you didn't intend to make was the more common pun as there were no apparent signs to there being two, thus cleverly disguising the unintended pun from being revealed as it wasn't intended in the first place? If you intended to do that, that's impressive.

Yeah, we only know the spaces we've passed. As such, I recommend you go east/right and follow DragonFreak and GBAToad to try and stop them from stumbling across it before you. That's what I'd do, anyway.
