Sorry, but even as a Sonic fan myself. Shadow hasn't earned a spot in Smash Bros. He's not even the most deserving even if Sonic ever got a 2nd character. Which isn't likely.
 
I like Shadow, but Tails and Knuckles deserve it more than he does, and regardless I don't think any third party series should get more than one rep each.

I think it'd be Shulk if we got one? I haven't played the game either but from what I know he's the main character and is generally the only one suggested.
