Overrated Mario Characters

Yoshi. I never thought he was before until I saw the MPL community...

But generally speaking too. I do think he is.
Yeah. Winner of Survivor #1 (MP characters), 3rd in Survivor #4 (MKW characters), 12th in Survivor #5 (SSBB characters).
I'm in Mario Party Legacy and one of the few Toadette fans there.
Although I find Koopa more overrated for placing higher than actual significant characters (Peach, Bowser, DK, Diddy, Wario)

They have. It's called most of the RPGs. He usually isn't even a major villain, sometimes being a hero instead. And there's nothing wrong with them. Ironically, the only bad RPG was one of the few in which he was the main villain.

This topic seems to be getting to characters people don't like
I don't outright hate Bowser, I just feel that he's way overused. Plus, like I said before, he's not the great of a villain. He's far better at being an anti-hero, like in most of the RPGs.
Would you rather they drop Bowser and put in a random new bunch of villains, like how King K. Rool was dropped for the Tikis?

its funny because he whines about the lack of king k. rool and his worthless bunch.

Not to say too many SMB games at one time, if Nintendo can't think two stories where Bowser have different boss roles, I agree that they should try to swap boss for once to prevent from fans' tiredness.

In DK' case, it's true that the decision of new DKC games works better in Mario games.

There's a difference between the two. The Donkey Kong series has gotten far less games than the Mario series. Not counting spin-offs like Super Sluggers, K. Rool hasn't been seen in a new game in six years, and he hasn't been in any of the main console installments since 1999, when Donkey Kong 64 came out. To add insult to injury, K. Rool was left out yet again in Tropical Freeze, despite all the backlash they got for that last time. Need I even get started on that "Does K. Rool HAVE to come back?" garbage? Bowser, on the other hand, appears in pretty much every damn game, even at the expense of other characters (such as Wart, Tatanga, etc.) who are way overdue for a comeback.
