Underrated (?) characters

Hi. I self saw a topic where they claimed that Waluigi is underrated. In my opinion he is NOT and there are way more characters that need love and regonisation in the Mario game, both by Nintendo and by the fans.
Like:
retro characters (Pauline, Stanley the bugman etc.)
characters from RPGs
characters from Wario´s woods
Wario spinoff characters
Donkey kong spinoff characters
So what do you think . Do you think those characters need regonisation and appear in the games like Mario kart? Or do you think it would be better if they weren´t in the spinoffs.

I used to disagree, but now I couldn't agree more. There should be a game where he is playable.

Also, I think that the Paper Mario 1&2 partners, though often liked by the fans, don't get that much love from Nintendo. In that sense I guess you could kind of call them underrated, or at least underappreciated.
 
While DK characters are a bit more common, certain ones like King K. Rool still has yet to appear. Same with Wario and RPG characters, along with characters such as Wart and Tatanga, so I'm all for these guys getting more love.

...Come to think of it, I am not sure how Daisy and Wario were able to make it out of the Super Mario Land games, but other characters like Tatanga did not...

And then there's the RPG characters which need representation in spinoffs... If not Fawful, then a character from Dream Team, seeing as how it's the newest one and such. Pauline should have already been in a Kart or other spinoff because of her appearance in the MvsDK series, also Prof. E. Gadd, although he isn't as underrated as the others.

You should say that Nintendo better give her a redesign again, if her current one is really bad.

A distinctive look can never be a bad thing, which makes new fans remember the character. While Rosalina looks beutiful, for example. her appearance is somehow close to Peach's.

The babies are overrated imo. Especially the fact that they'll probably continue to create new ones just to avoid adding more unique characters.
