Looks like we're gonna FINALLY have a celebrity voice in Smash

Yeah I think it's time we have an ACTUAL celebrity in Smash, besides there's not a single game featuring Mario, Link, Kirby, Pikachu that has those kind of people
you completely missed his point

No I didn't, he thinks a voice actor is a celebrity, have they ever appear in a famous movie or show their face on screen?

You are so goddamn dense, Supermariofan.

We just told you that the definition of a celebrity is someone who is well known or famous, regardless of what they do. And yet you continually decide that they are not worthy of being called celebrities, despite the fact that they are well known and famous.

So stop arguing, you are wrong, deal with it.

Ok.

1. Who cares about celebrity voices.

2. I like the voices from Melee and Brawl

3. I really doubt Snake is returning, to be quite honest.
He had a remake of Snake Eater on 3DS so that's one reason why he's safe, another reason is that Kojima begged Sakurai so much for Snake to be in, so I'm sure he'd be more than pleased to see him in Smash 4
Yeah but that's really not enough.

You have to be realistic. Nintendo is only going to put in a few third-party characters. I mean, at the most three, maybe only two.

And you know Sonic is going to be there since they're all tight with Sega. That leaves on spot, which is probably going to be a Namco character like Pac Man. If they add three, even so a Platinum Games or heck, even a Ubisoft character might be more likely.
Not really, Sakurai already said there were going to be more third-parties this time.

And honestly? Sutherland can go fuck himself, with all due respect. I prefer David Hayter all the way, instead of "Metal Gear Solid V STARRING KIEFER SUTHERLAND" and that includes Super Smash Bros.

Yeah, but he also said they weren't sure if the roster was going to be big, so I still suspect three at the most.

I'd expect Sonic to stay considering SEGA's now closer to Nintendo than ever, Snake to stay because of Kojima's friendship, and Capcom to give either Mega Man or Ryu and Namco to add Pac-Man to the roster. Apart from those, I'm hoping Bayonetta could join, if because Nintendo doesn't really have a lot of new characters to grab apart from Little Mac, Palutena,
hopefully Hades
, and Xenoblade characters.

Noooo I'm not wrong because they're only well known in GAMES!!!!! Does IMDB share recent news about them in the home page? No! Because they're not real celebrities, all they basically do is just lend their voices!!! A real celebrity like Kiefer Sutherland does something OTHER than just lend their voices, they can act, they show emotion, they show up in Oscar nominated films, etc.

My point with Seth Mcfarlane was the fact that he was EXTEMELY popular WAY BEFORE he hosted the emmy's. That's like saying that all animated movies do have have a single actor/celebrity because they only have a voicing. Yes, they ARE real celebrities, and IMDB is a very bad example in this context because IMBD focuses on movies, not video games! And hell, just because they aren't on screen doesn't mean they can't show their emotion with their voices, and hell, acting with just their voices is probably just as hard if not harder than if they were doing a non-voicing part, as they have to protray their skills through their voice.

Also, If you do not consider voice-over actors being celebrity, then why are you making a big deal about the new voice of Snake? Obviously it doesn't count as a celebrity voicing a character in Smash Bros. because he's just be a voice-over random person in the game.

No, a celebrity is someone well known. doesn't matter what the hell they did. Kevin Conroy is a celebrity, Roger Craig Smith is a celebrity, and Kiefer Sutherland is a celebrity. Also, using your criteria, Sutherland isn't a celebrity, because his only Award-winning thing is 24, a TV series. Hell, Justin Bieber is a celebrity and he can't act, can't show emotion, hasn't been in any Oscar-nominated film, and hasn't done voice-acting ever.

How is this confirmed?
Well, Sutherland is the new voice of Snake since Metal Gear Solid V, so logic would dictate that he's the voice of Snake in all new media featuring him, which would include Smash.

Let's just say Smash has a SPECIAL GUEST APPEARANCE by SOMEBODY WHO DOESN'T JUST LEND HIS VOICE LIKE THE REST OF THE VOICE ACTORS IN THE SMASH SERIES!!!! btw Macfarlane hosted the OSCARS not the Emmys
