Super Paper Mario 2?

I've been thinking. Everyone wants the Paper Mario series to return to its roots from the first two, right? So Super Paper Mario should split off into a subseries of the Paper Mario games. It would continue the epic saga of SPM, with the return of characters such as Count Bleck as a unlockable character and Dimentio as the villain. If Bowser can survive so many deaths, why can't Dimentio?

SPM2 could work for Wii U, with one screen displaying 2-D, and the other displaying 3-D (or hinting whenever flipping is needed) The gamepad could also work like Tippi by using the gyroscope to find the hidden objects.

Super Paper Mario was too good a game to just go to waste. It should become its own subseries, who agrees?

(This is my 256th post in Marioverse. I wanted to do something SPM-related.)
 
I wouldn't mind something like this happening,it would actually be pretty cool.

As long as we get a legit Paper Mario game first.

There is a problem. If you make them two different series, should you make at least two Paper titles for each console? (Uh, though we do need more stories.) And why didn't Nintendo make a "Paper Mario" for Wii?

I think SPP is simply an experiment for a totally different 2.5D artwork and gameplay system. Though I'm a SPP fan, I'd like to see whole new ideas in future titles. However, if you reluctantly make it independent, it would be another Galaxy case.

And each game title should have an independent story, no direct sequel happens, unless you can make RPG characters more recurring in Mario world. If it's me, I'd recycle all previous Paper titles to create a new story.
 
I don't know about anyone else, but I'd take this over another Sticker Star any day of the week.
 
Sounds awesome but I would like a true Paper Mario like TTYD first.

Paper Mario doesn't really do this kinda thing, It would be like renaming Mario & Luigi: Dream Team to: Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story 2.

You don't get it: there are more differences with Super Paper Mario and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door than Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story to Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time.
 
I think the idea is that they are apart of the same universe despite having different gameplay. It does seem kind of unlikely that they would make a sequel to it when I guess technically Sticker Star is the sequel to it. Although none of the games really mention the previous games, so maybe they are just apart of the same universe but none are connected.

I wouldn't mind it but its not like I'll get angry at Nintendo for not considering it. Sticker Star sequel plz
