So, having finally seen the Entertainment Weekly clip, I noted on two things:
So there are human equivalents to the Diamond Dogs, huh? That's cool, I guess. On the one hand, I liked the Diamond Dogs in theory and concept, and it sucks that we haven't seen them since their introduction. On the other hand, their voices are OBNOXIOUS and really grain on my ears. Wonder if that will be the case here.
And look, transformations out of nowhere! It's nice to see that the world of Equestria Girls is consistent with it's nonsense!
Other then that, this really feels very "meh" to me. The song in particular. For a movie that boasts 12 songs in it, if this was their attempt to grab me, I'm honestly not that impressed. Then again, I was never all that interested in the songs from Equestria Girls, despite being written by Daniel Ingram and feeling like I SHOULD like them...
