1. Super Smash Bros. was never going to be a crossover fighting game. It was originally called "Dragon King: The Fighting Game".
2. Sonic was originally going to be in Melee. However, due to time constraints, this idea was dropped.
3. Smash Balls and Final Smashes were originally going to be in the original Super Smash Bros. However, due to memory limits/time constraints, this idea was also dropped. However, some voices of, for example, Ness saying "PEEKAY SHTARSTOOORUM!!!!!!"* are in the game's files.
