Starting a save file with only 2 lives in the original Pac-Man World for PS1. It's a pain in the ass now and I'm stuck on the current level I'm on, unless I go back and find more 1-ups, which I'll probably end up doing.

The same deal happened when I was going through my backlog and was at the final boss of Evil Dead: Regeneration and I started the boss battle with a smidgen of health. I eventually ended up going back to an earlier level and collecting more health.
