when brawl was still brimming with speculation, people thought young link, mewtwo, and roy would return because they were in the last game. but did they? That would be a no.
 
that still doesn't prove that Toon Link won't come back in any way whatsoever. sure, he's one of the least likely to return, and he'd probably be my first choice to go if there were cuts, but as of yet there's no proof that any cuts are going to happen.

Pretty well-varied roster here, if I do say so myself. Looks like Mega Man is going to be coming true in the next SSB.

And yeah, we already talked about Ridley - and me and Packy both agree that he wouldn't make sense as a fighter. You'd have to size him down awfully small to be able to fit in proportion with the other fighters. I know you said Olimar and Bowser were re-sized, but not by a whole lot.

i was going to bump this but ok

I'm now going to bold every fighter that got confirmed today. I'm not removing Ridley unless I'm given a better Metroid rep, though. Now that Villager's confirmed, I will have to remove someone, and since I'm no longer sure if Kirby needs a fourth rep at this time and I'm not really sure if he'll work well anyway, Bandana Waddle Dee has been cut.

I have played Pikmin, actually. Granted, I ragequit in it twice because my Pikmin kept dying, but I still played it. At least they sized him up reasonably - he's still pretty small in the game.

Also, hmm...I can't really think of any good Metroid reps aside from some of the bosses from Corruption like Gandrayda or Rundas.
