Ninjask/Shedninja actually makes sense, but having two guys turn into the same one? Pretty pointless.

Now, maybe a merger of two might be possible. That would be interesting.
 
I mean like a permanent merger - like you need two Pokemon in your party and then when both meet the conditions then they both combine into SUPER MEGA AWESOME GUY... but, like, permanently.
 
Someone did make an evolution idea for Basculin, which requires you to have both Basculin forms in your party.
 
One thing I'm hoping Game Freak omits is only being able to catch certain Pokemon post game. Like how you can only get Beldum in RSE after becoming the champion or you can only catch Staryu in Canalave City after the game.
 
I also wouldn't mind if the last gym leader used a mix of different types of pokemon instead of only one type. You know, like Blue.

Well, I think that we should get a dark type gym leader before we get another Blue-like gym leader...
