Skeptical of this. I don't believe it at all.
 
It's 100% fake. I use my three strike rule:

Strike 1: Nintendo of America, while still having corny names, would not be as corny as that. Like, and the names are combo names, and usually in each generation there is some names that are just 1 letter is swapped or a play on words. None of them really helped much variety.

Strike 2: The fact that I think that Gamefreak wouldn't include so many pre/new evos at such a high rate. They still want at least the majority of it to be new pokemon, and I sure know that there are going to be more than 6 legendaries...

Strike 3: Look at the typing of each pokemon. Do you really believe that some of those typings are going to be real? Plus, see how all the pre-evos make sense, but then all the new ones are completely new typings? And see how there are the same typing that happen WAY too repeatedly in a role? Plus, the balance of typing is very off, and there is no way there will be that many dark pokemon.

I have seen a lot of potential rumor, and this just has way too many red flags that I'm calling bogus on it.
 
I just skimmed through it and posted it because I thought people might want to see it and decided for themselves if they want it to be true.

So I really have no idea what most of them are.
 
Yeah, nope, I think it's fake.

Not enough event legendaries, for one thing. Nothing that sounds like a "little legendary" (Mew, Celebi, Jirachi ect)

Also, the names really sound stupid. They just don't roll of the tongue at all.

Yeah we're talking about "7" weaknesses with that typing. A uber with that many weaknesses is just shameful if you asked me.
 
pinsir doesnt even need an evolution, only thing it needs is a better ability and mega horn.

Pinsir doesn't even have horns, so it can't logically get Megahorn anyway. Also, Mold Breaker is a great ability, since it can negate abilities which would otherwise hamper Pinsir, such as Sturdy and Levitate.
 
Yeah, I agree, Mold Breaker is a great ability.

You can take out a Gigalith or Forretress before they can use Stealth Rock or Spikes and Pokemon like Brozong or Gengar gain a weakness to Ground attacks.

The only problem is, every Pokemon who has Mold Breaker is meant to be a physical sweeper, and most Pokemon who have Sturdy, also have strong physical defenses. And while Reshiram and White Kyurem have Turboblaze as their ability, they're banned from most battle facilities (including random Wi-Fi), which is sad, since they're the only good special sweepers to get an ability that's based on Mold Breaker.

I'm going to guess the background story of the legendaries.

I mean, with the genetics aspect and all, plus the obvious air vs. land story, I have a feeling that Xerneas will be the representation of all land inhabitants while Yveltal will be the representation of all the sky inhabitants.

Which also leads me to guess their typing.

I believe that Xerneas will be Light (or Electric if there is no Light)/Ground and Yvelta will be Dark/Flying.

Why? Because Xerneas antlers have shown to glow and a brighter tint to it's coloration, and Yvelta has a dark tint to it's coloration. Well, that's my actual proof reason. I do speculate that their background story will also consist of light versus dark as well. I have the feeling that the main villains will have a background story the same as from Gen III where they want to control all the land or all the air, and take the DNA pokemon Xerneas/Yvelta and harness their power in order to make their own pokemon suited to their needs.
 
Why does everyone assume the next type is going to be Light? I mean, sure, Light is the opposite of Dark, but I think the Dark-type has a different name in Japan, anyway.
 
Isn't the Dark type supposed to be like the opposite of Fight and not like darkness or whatever everyone else that's crying "Light type" assumes it is? While Fighting types fight honorably, Dark types used dirty tricks to fight (biting, sucker punches, etc).
 
Well, I was imagining Light to be like a "angelic" type. Dark type in Japan is really saying "evil".

So it's like angels vs. demons. I would love to see light type be made.
 
I wonder how they would do that...

The Japanese name for the type doesn't really change that fact that most Dark-type mons and attacks still aren't representations of demonic evil or the shadows; they're still just about being douchebags and fighting dirty.
 
I don't want the new type to be Light

Putting more focus on the super rare ??? type would be way more awesome.. maybe even naming it something science related like the whole genetic thing
