Super Paper Mario FTW!! TBH, I never liked RPGs.

I love SPM the most only become of the plot. I found TTYD tons more fun, but the plot of SPM was 10x better than TTYD's plot. Plus, it brought us Dimentio.

Also, you know when PM: SS sucks when there are 0 votes for it in the poll.

And TTYD is winning, as it should.

I think Paper Mario and Paper Mario: Sticker Star are my favorites. I've never played TTYD.

I like Sticker Star a lot, but TTYD tops it.

Not that me liking TTYD more means anything, since its my favourite game of all. Doesn't mean the good games below it are bad or automatically suck, that would be a stupid mindset.

The Thousand Year Door definitely had a certain charm to it that made it a classic. There was also a crapload of things to do. Trouble Center, Pianta Casino, Glitzville, Ms. Mowz challenge, getting all the Shine Sprites, Pit of 100 Trials, etc. Those aspects were all very fun and comfortable to play.

I am a big fan of RPGs but that's not merely my bias talking. I think what lacks from Super Paper Mario and Sticker Star is what made the PM formula great in the first place. Memorable partners, unique villains, Luigi (lol), a solid battle system, and lush environments. Sticker Star virtually incorporates none of those listed and that's why it's easily the least popular in the franchise (not gaining EXP from battles? What the hell?)

A lot find that logic. Sticker Star was good but not as good as the others. But if you look at SS battles, you can get some coins from it.

SPM is that game where 50% love it and 50% hate it.

Luigi was playable in Super Paper Mario.
