Unpopular opinions about the Mario series

Ganondorf was only good in wind waker though.

He was a massive joke in oot(much like of the rest of the game).
 
I would hardly call wind waker's ganondorf ''deep''

Also the king in OOT was kind of an idiot.
 
They should put more henchmen into MK.
 
The no name variety.
 
Koopa Troopa and Dry Bones is enough. We don't need fifteen billion generic reps when there are actual characters that grew on people because of their personalities. Why do you think King Boo got in over Boo? Because he's probably the most cunning and evil Mario villain outside RPGs.

Being generic means nothing since all that will be emphasised is physical appearance. Plus the ''generics'' are plenty beloved by many people.

Because boos are generally obstacles or items in the race tracks.

Exactly, which should be the case for generic enemies, that's their role, why not keep the same role in MK? Make the racers distinguishable from the track hazards by giving the Goomba a hat and making him Goombario, etc

They did it right with Boos, why can't they do it with the other species as well?
 
Because the ''generic'' enemies are far more important to the franchise than some minor 1 time spin off character.
 
Like I said before many times, a Goomba with a hat is still a Goomba. Still easily recognizable. Same with Koopa Troopas and Koops/Kooper/Parakarry/Kylie Koopa/etc, same with Boos and King Boo/Lady Bow, same with Dry Bones and Dry Bowser.

Also you do realize that an RPG character would make more sense than some of the stuff they've been adding lately, right? There's plenty of characters that would've faded into obscurity if it weren't for Mario Kart.
 
And did you ever consider the possibility that people might prefer the main designs? If these things are going to be in they should have their iconic appearance. The appearance that helped make this series what it is. Not some one time look to please the guy with an unhealthy obsession.
