How to recolor with GIMP:

1. Create New Layer:

2. Equip Free-Select Tool:

3. Select the area you want to recolor:

4. Select the color you desire to recolor with:

5. Equip Fill Bucket:

6. Click to fill selected area:

7. Change layer mode to Color or Hue:

This is for GIMP, right? Click "Save as" and name the pic "NameHere.png"

Ok, cus it saves as a gimp only file.

If you don't put any file extensions, it will save as a GIMP only, .xcf file (or something like that). You can also choose the extensions on the bottom of the window, but it's faster if you type .png than select one.
