Whelp, I guess if I would have skipped K, I might not have met a lot of my friends. I be in teh 8th grade.

Don't feel bad, I went to preschool for 2 years! (I started preschool when I was 4, and ended when I was 6). I turned 19 2 months before graduating high school, and it didn't help that my birthday was before the cut-off day for Kindergarten. So I was always a year older than most of my classmates for about 2 months (during the school year).

Did you skip a grade or was it because of private schooling?

I skipped kindergarten. Because I had already learned most of what they taught me there at home and it bored me to learn things I already knew.

They tried to get me to repeat kindergarten, for some reason.

In fact, all the smart kids at that school later on were the ones who they forced to repeat kindergarten. Weird.
