The teaser trailer didn't show any gameplay, but what we know so far is:

-Tails is playable (just as he is in the Sonic CD remake).
-Metal Sonic is in the game.
-It's being made with a new graphics engine.
-The physics have come a long way from how they were in Episode I.
-Again, like the Sonic CD remake, it's coming to everything except WiiWare, most likely because of limitations (which I know is bound to cause some Nintendo fanboy rage, regardless).

I'm pretty excited for this one, especially after hearing that there's been some major improvements that were made to the engine. While I did enjoy Episode I to a certain extent, there's just no denying the fact that those physics were in need of some serious work. I'm also glad that more than just Sonic is playable this time, because no one other than him has been playable in any (main) console game in five years, and I was starting to get sick of it.

I didn't play the first one, so I can't say I'm missing out because it's not coming to WiiWare. Hell, I just bought Fluidity four days ago, and that's been out for months (not a huge WiiWare fan).

Now Sega are really going Anti Nintendo.

^ Exactly. There's a 40MB size limit that Nintendo has put on WiiWare titles for some reason, as opposed to the larger 2GB limit that the other current-gen consoles have. From what I've seen, the WiiWare Sonic 4: Episode I was watered down (graphics-wise and sound-wise) to fit the system's limitations, and the same thing would most likely repeat itself with Episode II if that were to come to the Wii. It would just be another watered-down product.

[...]the reason Episode I was on the Wii was because we wanted to bring the Sonic 4 saga to the widest possible audience. Episode II unfortunately will not be coming to the Wii - for reasons most people have probably guessed, but that doesn't mean the SEGA isn't supporting Nintendo platforms, we have a very strong partnership and will continue to do so.
So there, all this "OMG, SEGA HAETS NINTENDO!!!!111ONEONE!" crap can finally be put to rest.

Ok I get it now. I hope to see more Nintendo Mario I'm the future.

The Episode I physics sucked, so it's good that they're moving to a new engine. Not being released on WiiWare isn't a big loss, but why does Nintendo make hardware that's inferior to the competitors?

I thought it was put to rest back when SA 2: Battle came out on the GameCube.
Evidently not, since there are other people who were under the impression that Sega hated Nintendo, because of them not releasing Generations and the Sonic CD remake on the Wii.

People are ignoring 3 major things if they think Sega hates Nintendo at all. As said before, Sega has made games for Nintendo systems since 2001, The Mario and Sonic Olympic series, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl (And most likely SSB4 as well)

Also yeah I'll be interested in getting Sonic 4 Episode 2. Having Tails back will be awesome. Besides secondary roles in the story of Generations and Colors. Tails hasn't gotten much time to actually being in gameplay these days.

Once again, I'm a bit late on this, but more new Badnik art has been revealed.

The boar Badnik is called Fullboar while the sea lion Badnik is called Steelion. Also, you missed one more new Badnik.
