With all the comments like "YOSHI SUCKS HE'S SO OVERRATED" and "YOSHI IS CUTE HE'S UNDERRATED" i would say that he's neither.

Yoshi looks like he's more on the underrated side, since he's mostly treated as a sidekick to Mario.

Yoshi is too overrated. He has too many fans and appears in most games as a character who seems even more important than Luigi (the second most important character) at times.
