Fun fact their are more than one Lakitu's in the mario world and they have proven that they are able to drive cars before
 
Ehhhhh....

I think having them playable in the Mario baseball series was pushing it, but in makes sense, seeing as baseball games need a huge roster of characters.

I think there are much better choices out there to have in a Mario Kart game.

...I tried to pick character who seemed likely that Nintendo would use. I can think of loads of other characters I'd like to see, but doubtful Nintendo would use them.
