I finished No Game No Life. I really enjoyed it, a lot. I just loved how they make them sound so beatable when it's obvious they will never be beaten because they were designed to be OP motherfuckers. It's just interesting to see what bullshit and/or outrageous reasoning will make them win the game. Yes it did have fuck tons of fanservice and I think there was always a bath scene with some sort of stupid event happening after every game that lasted longer than one episode.

I really hope they make a season 2, the cliffhanger they ended on was glorious and I want to see more of everything this show offers. They only covered 3 of the 6 books so they totally could and they totally should.

I wanted to see how much it sold so far but instead I found that Love Live 2 has sold 82k... for its first volume... which is way higher than the 29k it sold all up for its first season. I need to watch it soon.

Mekakucity Actors is garbage, don't watch it. I sort of dragged myself through that one because I liked the manga.

I finished Hitsugi no Chaika too, now I wait for Hitsugi no Chaika 2. I think it's scheduled for some time this year. This show was pretty simple but I liked it nonetheless, sometimes I don't need flashy or thought-provoking anime to have a good time.

Once I finish off a few things I might try watching Psycho-Pass, apparently it is pretty great. I also need to watch NGE and Code Geass at some point.

honestly the only mecha series I like is the Macross series and Evanjellopudding.

(and i'd also say transformers but the transformers anime were all either mediocre or just plain bad and i don't know if that counts as mecha, i personally don't consider it)
