God Cat, while being a dick in general, was being mindcontrolled when he fought Dave and Rose.

Also, I'm not getting this one. Is Jake dead or just knocked out?

If you see here he's just knocked out and (as explained by the Dirk inside Jake's mind) is just reliving a memory in a Dream Bubble (since his dream self is dead)

I just realized.

Pre-Scratch Bro (Dave's Bro) was stabbed in the chest with his own sword and Post-Scratch Bro (Dirk's Bro) is also stabbed in the chest with his own sword too.

however Pre-scratch Bro's sword was completely fine and intact while Post-Scratch Bro's Sword was not as it was broken.

That second one isn't known for sure. Bodies were never found. They don't even know if they fought Batterwitch or not.
