Well, that's an obvious shortcut. It's even there written in stone. Not literally, but it looks like they put that hill and the opening specifically for you to make that shortcut. Me, sometimes, I feel ambitious and drive through there without any boosts at all.

I usually use my POW the quickest. The items I want are stars and triple shells

Triple Mushrooms are fun to use because they make you go wild it looks funny if you hop while using them too

I like Golden Mushrooms better. It's like a machine gun of boosts. But, bad thing is that they totally suck offensively and especially if you're a lightweight
