Yes. You will get a straight-up three stars if you stay in first for the majority of the races, don't get hit by many items, and don't go offroad. It's quite a difficult task; the most stars I ever received was two.

No, I've played through Grand Prixs with Manual in the Mach Bike, got first in every race pretty easily, never gone offroad, not gotten hit by items too much and only gotten 1/2 stars most of the time.

Well, the whole logic with stars isn't always the same. It all depends.

Me? Probably around 600 or 700. I havent checked in a while.

I've probably hit a few thousand CPUs with items, but like I said, I gotta check
