Oh, sorry. I guess I was thinking that because I read somewhere that Koopa Kid was just his Japanese name. But now that I think about it, in Mario Party 4 there is more than one "Koopa Kid" shown at the same time when you get a Boswer minigame.
MP7 is not my favorite, but I don't hate it. I just think they might have went a tad overboard on the Bowser stuff in that one, to the point that it actually gets annoying.
I don't get what you mean by "they feel nothing alike", since they all still have so many similarities. But I like having more options and trying different things. All the games should not be exactly the same every time, since that would be pointless.
Anyway, I have played the Mario Parties...
I don't get what people are saying when they say that MP8 felt rushed to them. It seems to me like it has more minigames, more options, and was a little better thought-out than some of the previous releases. Other than the lack of mic-games, I have no real problem with it myself.
LOL. That would be a stretch.
Let's not go there.
I like playing on teams sometimes, for something different, and I like it better when they have the team names based on who the characters are. My favorite team name is Waluigi + Boo = Total Creeps.
I agree it's kind of silly to have the babies in every spinoff with their grown counterparts, but some people like playing them, so I don't really care if they're there or not. They just make for more fodder for pummeling IMO.
The orbs/candy/capsules, or whatever, don't make much of a difference to me, since they do practically the same things. But I like the wiggler/flutter orbs better than the magic lamps personally, if you're talking about the thing that took you to that big Buddha guy, to transport you to the...
Good point, although I don't bother to mess with that particular aspect of the game personally. The only stuff I care about unlocking most of the time is new characters/courses, or stuff that can actually be played that adds more features to the game. But that's just me.
You can like him all you want. I won't hold it against you. I like that there's such a diverse cast of characters in the Mario games, so there's something for everyone (and something for everyone to hate, lol). So the more choices the better, IMO. Maybe they should do more with the Koopalings as...
I don't agree with that. I don't like Baby Daisy either, but that has nothing to do with why. People say the same thing about regular Daisy too - and it doesn't make any sense.
The reason why I hate Baby Daisy is because I hate regular Daisy, and the reason why I hate regular Daisy is because...
I have no love at all for the Koopalings myself. I just don't care for Bowser Jr. because of his snotty attitude that tends to annoy me. But that doesn't mean that I want him to die or have his character deleted from the games. I just don't like playing as him, that's all.
MP8 is not bad at all to me, and I have played 4-8 so far. I don't understand all the complaints about it. One of the biggest complaints seems to be about the controls, but I haven't had too much of a problem with them. It's not perfect, but then none of them ever are. I just hope the next one...
So far, I wouldn't kill any of the characters, even the ones I hate, such as Peach, Daisy, and Bowser Jr. As long as I don't have to play them then I can tolerate their existence.
Me too. He's the only character I ever use in any game where he's playable, except for when I'm trying to unlock certain things that he can't be used for.
Yeah, I agree, but that's why I'm saying they should redo it with better/more maps. Because I think the main idea of Double Dash made the game potentially more fun than the rest of the Mario Karts IMO, because it gave you more stuff to do. And, for example, I like how the person on the back can...
True, but if they decided to remake some of the better ones again just so they could be included on the next game with whatever new features it has on it, I wouldn't complain about it personally.
Anyway, I would really like to see a remake of Double Dash with the retro courses, even if they...
Re: Whats your fav mario kart wii char???
I don't like the Mii's either. I made one but I never use it because it's kinda fugly. And isn't Yoshis a separate species from Koopas?
Oh yeah, and another thing is they should bring back the mic games IMO. I love those. And if they do make another Mario Party for the Wii it could probably just use the same mic that came out for the Gamecube since that one already plugs into the Wii.
Uh, not in the Mario Party series, obviously...which is why I said that I would like for them to make some that do. But if you mean of Nintendo/Mario games in general (which I am guessing is the case), then yeah - Strikers Charged, for one. And some of the games on the Olympics titles use it too.
I guess that would be cool for the people who don't have all the games, or if they redid them to use the Wiimote/nunchuck. Come to think of it, I would like the next Mario Party to use the nunchuck too.
Well, I don't see why they'd stop the series now. They might wait for the next console, but they put out 4 Mario Parties for the Gamecube and there's only been one so far for the Wii.
In that case, get 2.
Meh, I could, but I would prefer another one for the Wii, since I like the better graphics and the minigames that utilize the Wiimote.
In no particular order, Super Mario 3, Super Mario World, Mario Kart Wii, Mario Kart DS, Mario Party 8, Mario Party DS, Mario Power Tennis, and Strikers Charged for Wii. I also have Mario Kart Double Dash ordered so I will probably get addicted to that one too after I get it, since I think it...
I just rented MKW last night and I think it's really good. I hadn't played it before, just the one on the DS. But I'm definitely going to have to buy it for the Wii now. I think I like it slightly better than the DS version.
I like to play as Waluigi with the Offroader as well.
Haha, I guess that could work. That probably looks more distinguished than the other babies TBH. But I'm not a big fan of the baby stuff anyway, personally.
Cool. I've always liked Luigi and Mario too, but Luigi more so.
And when Wario first came out I didn't care much for him, but then I warmed up to him, and now Waluigi is my favorite.
I also like Yoshi, Bowser, Dry Bones, and Boo.
