Great news BLOF. It's nice to see that you made the jump to Ryzen even if it is an older one and not the newer Zen 2 and Zen 3 chips. You will still get good results in Dolphin, PCSX2, CEMU, and RPCS3 much better than your old CPU. The best part is that you can update your PC BIOS/UEFI to accept a Ryzen 5 3600. I have no guarantee that it will accept a Ryzen 5000 series like my MSI MAG Tomahawk B550 can.

Also, I'd recommend changing the stock CPU cooler to either a Cooler Master Hyper 212 or Thermaltake UX200 RGB Cooler (which is what I have in my build) for better-improved cooling and performance, including Turbo Boost. It will work with light overclocking.
