  • Stepping through snowbanks is so difficult. And then sometimes you misjudge depth and end up with ice crystals in your shoes.
Playing Super Mario Run daily to rebuild my Platinum Point stash. I don't like being under 1000 Platinum Points.
    I hate invisible walls.

The best invisible walls are the ones that don't go all the way up, looking at you Kirby Air Ride.

Especially in games where you can't go back it you missed a collectible 😒

@LuigiFan24, I can name one; Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope. Literally had to restart that game twice after missing collectibles but not being able to go back to them. After the second time having to restart, I just gave up and never succeeded with the game😒
What I wouldn't give for Nintendo to put official subtitles for all of their videos. Would make the naming game on the wiki so much easier.
On Christmas Eve the Spirit Board had the Geo Stellar and Omega-Xis battle available. Which was strange because I was just thinking about Mega Man Star Force, since Capcom is releasing the anime's dub on Youtube on Wednesdays. I felt somewhat unnerved because the only logical conclusion is that Smash Ultimate was reading my mind.
Blackberry is a very unconventional frosting flavor. It works surprisingly well in the moment but the taste is lingering and I don't think I like that.
How do people manage their tabs? I've never been able to do it, it always "open new tab, never close tabs" until eventually my computer crashes and burns. And then I restart it and get right back to irresponsibly tabbing. I even installed a extension for "closing tabs but not really" and usually end up not using it. (It's because it operates by bookmarking the pages, and I don't like that implementation.) Any suggestions?

I dunno, I've just always been bothered by having fifty tabs open

Sometimes you look at a tab and you ask yourself, "Does this spark joy?"

    One suggestion: Close your tabs
From an asthetics standpoint, I dislike the new amiibo having these "extra bases" on top of the original base. I assume its for compatibility with accessories based around the original amiibo base, but at that point the normal base and the extra base should be conceived of as a singular object and not two different ones. I think Viola (the motorcycle)'s huge extra base is a massive violation of the amiibo form factor.

I don't think it's two bases. I think the extra base is just part of the sculpture of the amiibo.
We didn't record the opponent's spirit type for spirit battles in the spirits list on the wiki. This is relevant because support spirits and master spirits still have types in the context of being the opponent in a spirit battle. Which means some smuck (me) is probably going to have to collect all the spirit types for all the support spirits. (The master spirits are all neutral)
Assigning spirits to activities always gives me decision paralysis. I kind of which I could sort the list for activity selection by skill so that I could just always assign the ones that grant weaknesses (I basically never use them) and leave it at that.
Whoever thought "100-Man Smash but with Ken and only using Special Moves" was a fun achievement. It's not. Really boring, actually.

(I say this because I'm on like try 35 and I think the first "success" didn't count because I jumped and used attacks on POW Blocks. So now I've mapped every button on the controller to Special except for Up on the pad.)

Oh, and there's also the fact that because I can't use items, the good AI gets to take the items and use them against me. Being beaned by.a Smart Bomb in 100-Man Smash is kind of soul-crushing, as is being cheesed out by the Fire Bar's range.

Completed it. But I'm fairly certain the only reason I succeeded was because the final strong opponent was Pichu and in this mode they're light enough to KO with one Shoryuken at 0% so I didn't have to maneuver and score multiple hits.
Humph. What I wouldn't give for Mario Sports Mix to have had art with two Power characters in it. It has art featuring a pair of characters for all three of the other cross series types, but none for a pair of Power types.

I know I'm so late to respond to this lol but I think the art for this poll was chosen because it most likely fit the vibe they were going for
I wish my 3DSes Circle Pad didn't rot away. Why must electronics deteriorate? Are our belongings, and us along with them, doomed to eventually crumble to the dust, rubber, bones, and wires they were once made from?

(Also I'm trying to replay Sticker Star to fix up the wiki but this problem is putting a hard dampeter on it. I really thought an RPG wouldn't tax it that much. I guess the 3DS is of old age by now.)

I try to use the "+" Control Pad as often as possible. It's a shame most 3DS games focus on the Circle Pad…

I feel you. My 3DS's circle pad pealed off a long time ago. Never saw it again.
Discovering Long Jump -> Cap Throw -> Catch Jump -> Cap Throw -> Dive Jump -> Cap Throw -> Dive is a valid line of movement is throwing me for a loop. The Cap Throw is broken.
    S
    Salmancer
It's.a little less broken than on initial read because the Catch Jump requires the time for Cappy to return whereas the Dive Jump does not, but still this is like if Super Mario Galaxy let Mario Spin in the air three times in a row. Keep in mind, the same company said combining Head Shake and Flutter Jump is too dangerous for level design but allowed nonsense triple air stalls only 7 years later!

Actually, maybe Grounded Cap Throw -> Long Jump -> Catch Jump -> Cap Throw -> Dive Jump -> Cap Throw -> Dive is better. You only get two aerial Cap Throws, but this routing means the Catch Jump doesn't cost as much height because you're getting close to the hat to Catch Jump instead of waiting for it to come back.

One day, Diddy Kong will be able to prove Cranky Kong wrong.
Making my userpage sure took alot of energy.
I deliberately collected 33 Bonus Medals in the last round of Area 333 only to learn that the Area number and number of bonus medals are not on the screen at the same time. So I have nothing to show for the effort except for two screenshots that aren't entertaining even when looked at side by side.

We should use WarioWare Gold terminology for all games. Splatoon 2 has both Mash and Twist inputs. Kirby Mass Attack is a Touch game. Super Mario 3D World has Mash, Touch and Blow inputs, but the remake got rid of the Blow inputs.
I got to play a couple of rounds of Mario Kart Arcade GP DX. First thought: why are Spiny Shells normal throwable items? That's scary. What happens if everyone rolls Spiny Shells, does no one win?

You can play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe where you can make them the only item you are able to get.
