    Crows/ravens, they really set the ominous mood on a cloudy day when you can just gaze out over the open forests and mountains and imagine some epic fantasy plot unfolding

    Also we have a colony of pigeons living in the roof of our barn, they're the real wild type that stay away from people though. Chickadees, sparrows and the occasional bluejay or cardinal can be spotted around my yard too, as well as the odd bald eagle or falcon/hawk circling in the sky. When I think about it there's quite a diverse population of birds visible from my own window
