Hey, there's about a week left to sign-up! If you want to be featured in an activity in The 'Shroom in October, don't delay, check out the linked thread and send Rose, TPG, and myself a PM sooner than later!
174 issues of the paper! That's just astounding to think about, isn't it? This little community has kept a monthly project running for fifteen years, unbelievable as that is.
A big, big thank you to all of you here today who continue to contribute to this project and keep it going. This community is filled with great people, and you deserve a round of applause for supporting one another and keeping this place vibrant and encouraging the creativity of people here.
(A big thank you to Porplemontage, too, for letting us run this newspaper on his wiki through all these years.)
One more time, for anyone who missed it before, don't forget that today is Awards day, folks!
Check out the full schedule here, come and watch the ceremonies as they kick off in an hour and a half, and join the chat party in half an hour if you can!
One more full week of polls! Remember, you can vote again after a week has passed since you last voted, so get into the Mario and Fail Awards and Community Awards and cast your votes!
It has now been two weeks since the polls opened! If you've been voting on Sundays, you can vote again today whenever we pass the time you voted last Sunday, so go and vote!
Issue 171 of the paper is out! Don't miss this one! We have some amazing artwork, a few special sections, and some activities for you to take part in, so don't forget to give it a read!
While the rest of the game has its flaws as well as its steps forward, The Origami King shines when it comes to its soundtrack. I will be shocked, in all honesty, if it doesn't do well in M1. Best Sound Design this year.
I appreciate you asking, though!
