did you have them backed up?
doesn't necessarily sound like it's unfixable if it still turns on and all and just can't read sd cards anymore, but i wouldn't know what to do in that situation. i'm not sure what the physical damage has to do with reading sd cards tbh. maybe it can be repaired, but again i am no expert so it could be unfixable afaik
in any case i hope you manage to fix it or get a replacement if needed

In the meantime, I might continue my adventure of playing every Mario 3DS game, now on my New 2DS which inconveniently has a micro SD slot instead of standard.

if you get the right adapter and have a pc or phone it should be possible to transfer stuff

From my experience, I can cut and paste all the contents of my 3DS SD card to my HDD via my old windows laptop which has an inbuilt sd card reader (it doesn't have one for micro sd cards), then put the SD card into my 3ds and have a blank setup. I can then install themes/games/saves using official or custom applications (my 3ds is jailbroken) and then cut and paste that to my hdd, and then i can swap them over like that. I don't know for sure if this will work between two different types of 3ds though but it's worth a try

I finally blasted through P&D Roy's insane defense by carrying a Banzai Bill with a heartful water-light team.

If I buy a physical copy of a switch game, can I also download it? I like the convenance of digital, but I also love the novelty of physical

Wdym? Do you mean do you get a free digital copy of the game if you have a cartidge? I don't think you can without a jailbreak

no, you can't download it from the cart onto the switch. you gotta pick one or the other or double-dip

Good morning how is everyone today? Me, I had a delightful dream of a space alien world where every species of the galaxy is seen as equal, and live in harmony. I befriended a talking tree and someone from a race that inspired the myth of werewolves.
    Anyway,
Today I'm going to see if I like Cowboy Bebop, play the desert world of Puzzle Dragon Mario Edition, and try to beat some Mario Kart Sydney Tour challenges.

Tipping Stars had a short main story, with that done now I get to play one of my long awaited titles,
Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros. Edition!

    Happy September everyone!
I hope you're all enjoying the cooling air and turning colors as I am.

This month I continue to persue my media consumption projects with more new titles brought into my squirrely treehouse.

For Nintendo Switch I got the expanse open world fighter Dragon Ball XenoVerse 2, and a semi-cute melancholic spooky indie game with randomized world layouts every play, GoNNER.

On the Nintendo 3DS I start my Metroid and Pikmin playthroughs, both beginning on Smash Bros 3DS (in accordance to US release date).

With Nintendo New 2DS I continue my retro exploration with Legend of Zelda Oracle of Seasons, and Super Punch-Out!! Which both I luckily already owned from previous months bundle deals.

I'm not sure which Mobile games, TV shows or movies, and audiobook I'll be starting this month, those are all left to my surprise.

I beat my Mario playthrough on Smash Bros 3DS, and have opened the next Mario 3DS title, the puzzle platformer toys called Minis are back, in Mario VS Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars!
And I have to say I like this way better than its predecessors, it's honestly a huge plus to not have the ability to control the toys at all (other than starting them up), and to sololey focus on the terrain.

I also just finished watching Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts, I highly recommend this Netflix cartoon. Season 3 is its true finale, and it's quite beautiful.

Anyway yeah that's my summary for September media update, have a great month friends.

Finished my Smash Bros 3DS run. Got to wait for my paycheck to play the next Mario title, Mario vs Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars.

    Observations recap

    1. Capnap is not of feathers but mushroom flaps resembling feathers

    2. The wide trees and tall trees standing next to each other in Koopa Park make a silhouette of shellcreeper

    3. E. Gadd should be part of the main cast of playable characters in spin-offs
