Awards Killing Game 2x2: Moon of Hope (Voting Thread) - Case 5 - The Disappearance of Lee Chaolan

Vote: Jackson

There's not a lot of evidence currently implicating him or anyone specifically, but the disguise, forklift shenanigans, and sudden insistence on providing an alibi are enough for me to put a vote down for now. It's possible he is an accomplice; happy to switch votes to the real deal killer if they're unhappy with their buddy getting hanged for their attempt.

Vote: Lulu
Aside from me, who the evidence points to most likely being the accomplice instead of the killer, Lulu was actually at the Solarium after there was water which is quite likely the place of death

"…I used the darklight flashlight for some visibility, but it was still a pain to navigate. I was heading upstairs, to the Solarium to grab some more paintings."
"…In the Solarium, the floor was wet with paint and water, but I didn't spend much time investigating, because all I wanted to do was grab the paintings and go back down to the Dark Lab."

Very likely this vote will be changed if more evidence is found
Sorry Lulu

Idk more of a vibe vote, don't like that they're seemingly afk for the whole time after the blackout

Oh I mean wildcard vote yeah

Vote: Jackson

Honestly the best I think I can do, vibes mostly. Acting weirdly defensive (albeit for understandable reasons). Sorry

##Vote: Lupin

...Fascia and I promise it isn't personal. But, the chance of hitting that wing in particular when trying to do something like this...

Vote: Lupin

I'm... not entirely certain of this either but I feel like the blackout is the most likely reason to get voted

As a result of a tie, a scrum debate period has begun! All votes have been reset. The only options for scrum are Jackson and Lupin.

Scrum will conclude 27 minutes after this post.

It kind of goes without saying that I'm still voting for Jackson

Vote: Blathers

Don't really feel like it's either of these but between Turb seeing Cloudwalker and Tarp Guy separately and Blathers turning on/off the one relevant section of the map to transport the body I feel like the latter makes more sense.

Vote Lupin

We all know where this is going so let's just skip to the end

Voting for the final case has now commenced! You have until Adjusted Time to pick the culprit.

Your incentive is: Voting incorrectly will leave you susceptible to attacks from players or entities in the Paranormal Dimension. If the killer successfully gets away with it, they can choose one item to take into their possession, Moon Shard, Sun Stone, or otherwise.

Vote: Lyra

With an apparent lack of physical evidence and still awaiting the victim's memory checks, this is a tough one to crack.
However, whatever mechanism that was used to vanish the victim should have also vanished the flashlight Lyra claimed to have given him. Otherwise, we would have found a pile of clothes and armor by now.
It seems to be widely agreed that Ghouligrab dies if his flashlight is destroyed - him being alive means that Lee didn't have the flashlight at the time of death.
No one would have the foresight to remove one thing from Lee's inventory before killing him, unless they knew it was already there.

Maybe there's a way to explain this contradiction, but the simplest explanation I can think of is that Lyra is either lying about giving him the flashlight in the first place to distract the investigation, or deliberately confiscated the flashlight from Lee before vanishing him. She's one of the few/only people that knew that Lee would have that flashlight. Hoping his testimony will shed some light on this.

Vote Ghouligrab

Maybe this mystery flashlight had the ability to send things OOB. Ghouligrab would be the only person to know what it does so would know to hide it after the kill...

Vote: Ghouligrab
You seem to be a more likely candidate for knocking Lee out, shoving him in a mine cart and taking him away than I could, seeing as I cannot physically be there to do that and be seen by Lyra at the same time. Also I have to go so this is based on the evidence we got now sorry if I'm wrong ;-;

Vote: Ghouligrab

Placing a tentative vote as the timer ticks down. He seems to have the most opportunity to kill or KO someone in the Cellar and transport the body away, and it's feasible that he'd know about the Coatroom anomaly from a lore document he hasn't shown us. His attempt also sounds kind of weak to me. Subject to change if we have a last-minute revelation

Vote: Ghouligrab

I am not entirely sure on the details but it seems he could have used the pumpkin planting he's done to go to all the places needed to do the kill.

##Vote: Ghouligrab

I got hit by an ooc beam when making this post but there's 3 minutes left and I'm shitting pant over the Quarry Pit stuff and the pathing so gg Jackson and Lyra and also me and Atmey and Rose. Thanks all
