Of the opposing campaign, this idea stands out to me the most:Now though, more importantly, I have a question to both Sparks and Redboot (and I would appreciate that both of them are the ones answering my question):
Are there any ideas from the opposing ticket that you agree with and would be willing to consider?
If we do ask polls asking about the audience's interests, we could get more engagement and total voters from the polls about the interests. I'm not opposed to something like this, and I may consider this if I become Chairperson.
- During months with five Mondays, we would run polls asking the community for feedback specifically related to the Poll Committee. For example, On June 29, we would put up a poll asking "What kinds of polls do you want to see more of from the Poll Committee?" This poll would run until July 6 when the next normal poll would be put up. As someone who's been in many a workshop in my time in college, I believe feedback is extremely important, and this provides a way for everyone in the community, not just members of the Poll Committee, to participate!
I think the only cake I've ever helped bake was a carrot cake, but that's not my favorite.question for all nominees: what's your favourite kind of cake to bake
Apologies for the delay in answering!I've got a question for both @Redboot and @Troy McClure:
Both of you and your troops (Poll Committee members) are in an intense battle with a large angry dragon! You've come up with a great plan to defeat it: half of your soldiers will distract it while the others sneak behind it and strike it, vanquishing it it the process.
There's just one problem however - you're missing more than half of your troops, so only you two and a few others are accompanying you. Obviously, you're going to have to change your tactic! What would you do?
(This question essentially asks what you would do if you don't have enough members to get a poll nomination accepted. If I remember from checking the Poll Committee policy, at least half members must accept a poll for it to get accepted.)
